I’m a bit disappointed, now that the thing was actually released, it’s tied to T-mobile (which isn’t really that bad), but then again, there is no real syncing software, multimedia player (besides the audio) and only 1 GB of storage(upgradable to 8GB), but counting in all the other features, (copy and paste, removable battery, built in keyboard) it could very well give the iPhone a very worthy adversary. Now, it doesn’t look very attractive, and I’m not really a fan of the trackball (clogging people, clogging), but hey, a Google Android phone has finally been released! Now, with this I do expect that they sooner or later come out with some sort of desktop syncing client, because, unless every folder on the thing when accessed as a storage drive is named so that everything makes sense, I think it’ll drive people crazy. So far, from the pictures provided, the interface seems very usable, as well as nice to look at. The price- $179 with a 2 year contract, but if your compare that to an iPhone 3G of equivalent storage ( let’s say 8GB), the upfront price is about $220.
